Question of the day

You know I love little birdies (not real ones, I'm pretty sure I'd find them annoying). So you can imagine the shock and horror involved in learning just moments ago that my friend, and formerly valued customer, Shana, does not care for these adorably fun appliques. I believe she may have been attacked by a bird as a child because I really can't come up with any other reason for her to not love the birdies. Wait, I titled this post "question" and not "bitchfest", didn't I?

Ok then, what do you think of the birdie appliques? Love them? Hate them? Don't care? I'm really into them right now, in my sewing and scrapbooking so whether you like them or not won't really effect my usage of them, it will just make me better informed. Ooooo, and here's something fun, the person who leaves me the best feedback on this matter will get some kind of prize from me...maybe a diaper/travel wipes case or a little business card pouch....or maybe a package of poo if your name is Shana.

ooh..oohh oohhh i want a package of poo, pick me pick me. i hope bella(traitor)isn't the one doing the choosing. i like birdies, real and otherwise(remember my whole cutie pie baby bird heartbreaker), however i haven't really liked any of the bird bags, not the older pink n green fabric and not the newer two. i'm not sure how i arrived at this because i do think the birds are cute and i do think the bags are cute i just don't think the birdbag is cute ( : like i love crab legs and i love chocolate but i'd hate chocolate covered crab legs. our taste is totally different(yours being more fuddy duddy and mine being more white trash-like the frog/harloquin bag i had you make me) so i'm sure you could care less if i like the bird bag i'm just trying to entertain you enough to win free poo.

hahaha...Lena I think definitely wins free poo. You two ladies are so darn funny!

Anyways, back to this question. I think the birdies are very cute don't get me wrong. I saw the bag and thought "oh that's adorable." However, when you add said birdie to the bag it no longer is my style. Why? I'm not sure, but I know that my style is not walking around with a cutie birdie on my purse. So sorry, i wish it wasn't so. However, the bag itself is cute. Yes, you probably think I'm sucking up now, which I'm really not and I know it will only be a bag of poo for me now on, so I might as well say this "Kelci, take your birdie bag and use it to catch birdie poo!" hahahaha. Now you really hate me. I'm so sad.

With Love,
The Birdie Hating Poo Lover

No poo here please. I love the appliques. I mean, I don't want every single bag I own with a bird (ohh maybe an owl would be cute!)cause one is probably enough, but it is my style. You know funky & cool, yep that's me. And you know nothing screams scrapbooker more than a Kelci original!

Ok . . . am I the ONLY ONE here that could have the cute lil bird on all of my bags? Yet I don't own ONE birdee bag? I wonder . . can you take the birdee scrapbook stamps and stamp them on a bag and they look 1/2 way decent WITHOUT fading and coming off? If I knew for a fact I could . . I would! LOL! I just think they are so darn cute . . you could squeeze their . . . um . . beaks? Anyway . . I say keep them coming Kelci! I absolutely LOVE the pink and brown one, but it was gone in a blink . . (but that is good for you)! LOL! Keep it up!

PS - Send 'em all POO . . I can use all the help I can get in the diaper department though! HA! LOL!

"My name is Shana and I deserve poo. I'm so ashamed to admit that I am powerless in this situation. Thank You."

I love the birdies. I don't know, maybe because I'm in a testosterone-rich environment...the cute little birds just scream "I'M A GIRL, DAMN-IT! LOVE ME ANYWAY!" Or maybe I love them because my great-grandma and grandma were both named Birdy/Birdie. Or maybe because my mom hates birds. Or maybe because I feel so bad for our pet bird "Charlie" (that my MIL thought Caleb needed) that died one weekend when I accidently left the bird cage open and it got it's little claw hung in the carpet. Or maybe I love them because I laugh hysterically every time I think about when a little bird pooped on my friend Amanda's hand while we were walking down 6th Street in Austin. Or maybe they are just freaking cute. I think I have way to many "birdie" stories...

Ok I am not in partial agreement with you ladies in regards to said bird bags so only half a bag of poo for me. I seriously LOVE this bag and have contemplated whether to buy it or not. I love the blues...could live with or without birdie. Now on the other bags I would have to pass but this one calls to me for some reason...hahaha...maybe I have a deep inner connection with blue birds?!?!
